Your Census Pilot Survey Enumerator - delivering and collecting your form

Each Census Pilot Survey form will be personally delivered and collected by one of our 36 enumerators.  Each enumerator will be clearly identifiable as a CSO employee (see pictures below).  Please ensure that your enumerator shows their ID card to you when delivering/collecting your form.

‌The enumerators will begin to deliver the forms in your area from the 20th of August up to the 23rd of September.
We ask you to complete the form on Sunday 23rd September.
Your enumerator will call to collect your form between 24th of September and 22nd of October.

As enumerators are required to make personal contact with each householder in their area, they may have to make several calls to some homes.  If they are unable to reach you, they will leave their contact details so that you can arrange a mutually convenient time for your form to be delivered and/or collected.

If you would prefer to return your completed form directly to the Central Statistics Office, please ask your enumerator to give you a pre-paid envelope to allow you to do so.  If you have not received your form by the 23rd  of September or if your form has not been collected by the 15th of October, please contact us at 1850 201 604 or copfieldmanagement@cso.ie. We will ensure that your form is promptly delivered or collected.

Your enumerator will also be able to answer any queries or provide assistance in relation to the form, including those with vision or hearing impairments.  You can also find information on completing your form here.
